POSITION TITLE: Nursing Director of Critical Care
POSITION LOCATION: Monroe, South Carolina
POSITION SUMMARRY:
The Director of Critical Care Services has 24-hour responsibility for management and operation of the Critical Care Services unit and patient care area. Position reports to the Chief Nursing Officer.
Our Critical Care Unit has 44 beds, 11 in ICU, 6 in CVICU, and 27 in Step Down. In this position you will manage approximately 75 FTEs, primarily RNs. In addition, the staff includes 8 charge nurses and a secretary, plus nursing assistants.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Requirements: RN License or eligible for licensure in the state of SC. BLS & ACLS. Also requires a minimum of 5 years acute care nursing experience, including a minimum of 3 years experience in management of a Critical Care Unit. Desirable: BSN degree or higher.
