  • Position Description:

    Accurately maintains and adds donor records in the database annually while exercising a high degree of discretion and confidentially.   Handles approximately $4.5M in gifts annually, accurately analyzing and recording information on 14,000 gifts in the Raisers Edge.   Is responsible for daily deposit of gifts and accuracy of Daily Cash Audit Sheet provided to Accounting.   Processes monthly credit card gifts, pledges and monthly cash pledge commitments.   Generates acknowledgment, memorial and honorarium letters, pledge reminders and receipts.   Participates in Development Foundation activities, including Radiothon, and any additional special events as needed.

    Qualifications:  

    High school diploma or equivalent required.   Associate Degree preferred.   Minimum of three (3) years experience required.   Experience with Raisers Edge (RE) software or commensurate software.     Experience with document scanning systems (PaperSave preferred) and advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Word merge documents, required.   High degree of aptitude for learning computer software programs.   Must have knowledge of accounting procedures and knowledge of FASB rules and IRS regulations relating to donation processing as well as PCI (Payment Card Industry standards).   Must complete work according to standard work instructions, policies & procedures and according to productivity measures.   Strong communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills required.   Ability to represent the Foundation when communicating with donors.   Possess a keen eye for detail and accuracy while handling multiple tasks with frequent interruptions in a fast-paced customer service department.   Minimum typing requirements of 55 WPM.   Ability to work independently, be adaptable, and be creative and take on additional responsibilities when asked.   Knowledge of hospital departments and programs helpful.   Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
