POSITION TITLE: Nursing Director of Emergency Services
POSITION LOCATION: Germantown, TN
POSITION SUMMARY:
Demonstrates effective leadership in a multidisciplinary environment and is responsible for analyzing departmental program needs, developing strategies based on the overall organizational business plan: developing department managers; monitoring staffing; staffing ratios and skill mix, agency, HIPPD levels and turnover rates; providing continuous assessment and improvement of performance of care and services provided; communicating management application of policies and procedures and/or changes in practice; participating in budget preparation for their respective department; maintaining expenditures within budget on an annual basis, and assisting in resolving customer service issues.
The Director will be reasonable for the overall Leadership and Coordination of the "Chest Pain Center" which entails ongoing quality improvement of care for the Chest Pain and AMI patient.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Master's Degree in Nursing or Health Related field required. Experience: Five ( 5 ) years supervisory experience in a hospital healthcare setting.
Licensure/Certification: RN licensure to practice in the state of TN
