Administrative Director of Radiology opportunity near NYC! 

Please note:  This position requires a Healthcare Administrator with several years leading Radiology services.  No other specialties will be considered at this time.
 
This thriving Radiology Division performs more than 500,000 studies per year. The network consists of 12 locations, 2 Interventional sites, a Mobile Echo Cardiac Team covering 20+ sites and 4 Vascular Labs.
 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Manages day-to-day operations, working with staff to maintain the appropriate support and momentum.
  • Budget preparation and monitoring of the operating budget.
  • Acts as a liaison between Radiology and other departments related to medical imaging initiatives and procedures and assisting with existing or new medical imaging endeavors.
  • Works with physicians and other key personnel to identify and design future needs and efficient workflow process.
  • Compiles and analyzes support data and recommends procedural and educational changes as appropriate.
  • Oversees and coordinates strategic planning for medical imaging initiatives.
  • Oversees activities of vendors in all phases of installation and implementation of new systems.
  • Works with administration in the development and compliance of operating standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Prepares reports for administration on all aspects of medical imaging operations as appropriate or directed.
  • Applies qualitative and quantitative skills to various situations.
  • Influences key stakeholders to implement processes and/or drive organizational change.
  • Presents findings, reports, and recommendations to leadership, including physicians.
  • Develops staff by serving as a performance coach and providing on-going feedback and coaching to project team members.
  • Performs other functions as required or assigned.

Requirements:
  • BS in Health Related field, MBA preferred.
  • New York State Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive responsible leadership in Radiology Technology.
  • Revenue Cycle Management, Contracting, Credentialing.
  • Demonstrated competency in managing the following accreditations: ACR, ICAVL, ICAEL, ICANL, DOH and FDA Regulations.
