POSITION TITLE:  Executive Director-Accountable Care Organization

POSITION LOCATION: Michigan

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The individual in this role will be a senior leader in the ACO department and will be expected to contribute to initiatives that advance the enterprise objectives, scaling best practices and actively engaging with other local market and ACO department leaders to coordinate the success of the ACO and CIN strategy.  It will be essential for this position to work closely with a wide variety of departments including hospital A-team leaders and functional business unit leaders. This individual will also participate in strategy/development with hospitals and senior management within the ACO department. The position will be responsible for managing the growth, success and compliance for all aspects of the CMS ACO program, our most recognized and consistently successful ACO in the enterprise.  This position will be responsible for staying abreast of local market initiatives that would impact the ACO or CIN strategy.  Finally, this position will be part of the local executive management for the CMS Bundled Payment programs in the market.  The Executive Director must be a leader capable of establishing excellent relationships with local hospital leadership as well as physicians within the community. Total responsibility over three clinically integrated networks and eight hospitals.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 7 years’ experience in ACO/CIN network operations, physician practice management, provider relations or network development in a health care or managed care setting required.   Recognition given more than 10 years in a direct ACO/CIN role.
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point is required.  
General knowledge of the Medicare Advantage open enrollment process is required.
Knowledge of SalesForce or comparable database is required
Knowledge of the billing and claims process for professional/Part B services is preferred.
