Location: Must currently be living and selling healthcare solutions in the Southeastern U.S.
Compensation: Six figure base salary plus lucrative commission structure
About the Opportunity: The CDC estimates over 100,000 people die each year because of healthcare associated infections (HAIs).  How would you like to offer your hospital customers a managed services solution that saves lives and is also cheaper, faster, better and greener than what they have in place now? Our client offers  a cleaner, better maintained and superior healthcare environment that measurably reduces the risk of healthcare associated infections (HAI). They do this through specialized staff training, six sigma optimized processes and patented technologies – all focused on saving lives.  Our client’s unique, sustainable approach to cleaning and re-stocking patient rooms includes best practices from traditional cleaning approaches, uniquely trained teams, and patented technology that stops the spread of pathogens and bioburdens. Bottom line, our solution helps save lives by measurably eliminating the HACs (healthcare acquired conditions) that lead to HAIs (healthcare acquired infections). It also reduces labor costs 5-10% and turns beds faster, while increasing productivity and patient satisfaction scores (HCAHPS). You can offer your trusted client hospital relationships a better way, that saves lives. 

About the Position: The VP Sales, Southeast will develop new client relationships in the Southeastern United States, focused exclusively on the healthcare solutions market.  This is a complex, highly consultative, service based sales environment.  We are looking for a strong, professional sales executive with a track record of closing multi-million dollar, multi-year deals, ideally $10 million in annually recurring value.  Although the sales process involves people at several levels in the client organization, it starts in the C-suite.  Experience selling at this level is critical to success in the role. Please note that sales experience in the healthcare vertical in the southeastern U.S. is a mandatory requirement. 

In addition to a proven track record of performing the responsibilities listed above, the successful candidate must meet the following qualifications and experience requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a consultative sales environment within the healthcare industry selling into the C-suite. Experience in an outsourced, managed services environment preferred.
  • Solid management skills and business acumen with experience in developing sales plans, forecasts and budgets.
  • Outstanding personal track record for closing business at the C-level.  Must have successful experience selling in a high-ticket, multi-year contract environment.
  • Ability to travel extensively (60%) throughout the region.
