Our full-care hospital in the Central Valley is one of the largest employers in Stanislaus County with approximately 2,400 employees and more than 200 volunteers. We admit more than 19,000 patients annually and treat more than 51,000 patients in the Emergency Department each year. The scope of services includes cardiology, neurology, emergency and trauma services, air ambulance, women and childrens services, orthopedics, medical/surgical, oncology, and critical/intensive care.
We are seeking a Director of Pharmacy for a large department. Must have Bachelors or Pharm D. Degree, CA Pharmacist Licensure. Previous working experience in a hospital is desired with at least 3 years of more hospital management experience.
Under the general supervision of the Associate Administrator, the Director of Pharmacy is responsible for overseeing the distribution and clinical activities of the Department of Pharmacy Services the hospital and ensuring the provision of quality pharmaceutical services to all patients, hospital personnel, and medical staff.
Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited school of Pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree or MS degree in Hospital Pharmacy
Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited school of Pharmacy. Doctor of Pharmacy degree is preferred. Completion of a Pharmacy Residence Program is desirable or must have equivalent experience.
3 years or more related work Management experience in a hospital setting.
The position requires a valid pharmacist license as provided by the State of California and must be in good standing.
