We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the OPERATING ROOM DEPARTMENT. Must be a Graduate of an approved school of nursing is required, prefer BSN. BLS Certification required, prefer ACLS and CPR instructor license. Prefer PICC certification. Must have one year clinical experience, prefer 2 yrs clinical experience. Must have Organizational skills, effective Communication skills, strong Record Keeping skills, Interpersonal skills and excellent Customer Service skills.
Prioritizes, prescribes, delegates and coordinates delivery of Nursing care utilizing the nursing process as outlined in the Florida Nurse Practice Act. Provides care to patients throughout the Diagnostic Imaging department with a primary focus on, insertion of Peripheral Inserted Central Catheters (PICC). Places PICC lines according to approved department protocol. Participates in monthly QA process to assure proper utilization and performance practices. CPR instruction provider for Radiology Department.
