DescriptionManages the day-today operations as well as the financial aspects of the research studies. This position manages the employees and workflow to ensure that patient and pharmaceutical company expectations are optimally met, and provides oversight and guidance to staff to maximize efficiency. The Manager promotes Clinical Research for the facility and is active in the Community as a representative of the Foundation and Medical Group.
Qualification:
Minimum Associate degree in Nursing or healthcare related field, BSN preferred. Current California licensure as Registered Nurse required. ACRP certification or equivalent preferred. Minimum of one year experience in the Clinical Research field and 3 years in management-level position. Knowledge of FDA regulations governing research protocols including Good Clinical Practices, basic accounting principles to manage the finances of the research studies and basic management principles. Proven leadership skills are required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language are required. The ability to motivate, train and manage employees while creating a positive and collaborative environment. Must have excellent organizational skills utilizing appropriate tracking, trending monitoring and reporting. Must possess computer skills to include Microsoft Office programs including at least Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. A working knowledge of Access is helpful. Excellent communication skills are imperative as well as the ability to work independently and manage time to meet deadlines.
