DescriptionJob Summary:: The Site Manager is the chiefly responsible for the orderly operation of the site and a resource for all technicians. He/she will function at the BMET II or higher-level and will be capable of troubleshooting, repairing and performing preventative maintenance on a wide variety of medical devices.
Primary Responsibilities: Quality Management System: Responsible for maintaining the effectiveness of the QMS as appointed management representative for branch biomedical employees. Ensures that all QMS and safety procedures are followed. Ensures all required records are completed in an accurate and timely manner and available for audit purposes. Maintain documentation for all biomedical site employees i.e. vacation time, sick time, personal time, FLMA and 401 K. Will identify training needs for biomedical personnel. Will assure the service area is clean and orderly, providing a safe environment for service personnel. Will assure accurate database entry and reports. Expected to meet production goals set for department. Be able to document and maintain appropriate paperwork for site i.e. receiving logs, shipping logs, time cards, employee write ups, routing slips and packing slips Manage and perform on-call responsibilities. Organize on-call rotation for staff and may have to carry BIG beeper if needed. Able to perform all duties under biomedical technicians responsibilities, including repair, pm, cleaning, shipping and receiving, warehouse functions and driver responsibilities. Responsible for Inventory control Will be expected to work Overtime with short notice. Will participate in the Bi-annual inventory of equipment. Responsible for training of new employees on all aspects of their job description.
Qualifications: Knowledge: Associates degree or higher in the Biomedical field 5 years experience working on all types of Biomedical equipment At least 2 years of experience managing people A broad knowledge of various hospital / homecare medical equipment. Computer literate with an understanding of database operations. A broad knowledge of electronics, electricity, electro-mechanical, fluidics, pneumatics and hydraulic theories and practices. Strong work ethic and focus on quality work. Must be organized and detail oriented

Abilities Ability to manage biomed personnel Understand and perform all duties associated with Repair, PMs, Cleaning, Shipping and Receiving and Delivery of Biomedical equipment. Compensation: $50-55k/yr non-exempt position (no OT) 5% bonus possible
