Administrator Oncology Services-Virginia Schedule: Full-time Description The Administrator of Oncology Services is responsible for the leadership, successful operations, and quality of Oncology Services for the Richmond market. Experience in a Health System/Network or multiple entity required Facilitates the integration and teamwork of all Oncology Departments for optimal care of patients. Works in conjunction with facility administrative staff and the Oncology Medical Staff to ensure the highest level of care for patients, and ensures that all services provided meet all regulatory requirements and guidelines. Works with physicians to adopt and incorporate quality initiatives, understand economic considerations, and increase physician/hospital alignment Responsible for development of strategic and tactical plans to maximize the effectiveness of Oncology service for the Division. This includes budget planning and management (capital and operational). Responsible for ensuring that Oncology Services are performing in conjunction with the mission and values of the Division , including participation in goals and processes derived form corporate initiatives Qualifications Education: College Degree, Masters preferred (MSN, MBA, or MHA) Licensure: Current state Registered Nurse license/ Allied Health Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 (prefer 10) years in Oncology Services, with at least half of those years in Oncology leadership (prefer in a program with full Oncology services) Other: NP preferred Send this job to a friend Send this job description to a friend by email.
