DescriptionClincial Operations Manager for Surgery and Sterile Processing will be accountable to the Director and responsible for quality care of patients in the OR. This OR does over 700 cases per month and has a large staff. The Manager will have clinical imput and support the Clinical Educator in in-service education. The Manager will be a mentor for new and older employees. The Manager with the Director will be involved in all hiring and firing and evaluation of staff.
The Manager will have demonstrated ability in the clinical area, at least 5 years of progressive Management experience in the OR inviornment. The Manager will participate in long range planning and budget of the OR-Surgical area. Is responsible for making sure all regulations are followed for all reglatory agencys. Must have a good understanding of Sterile Processing as well.
This position is with one of the best hospitals in Phoenix and has received many awards for patient and community care.
Will be involved in Policy and Proceedure as well.
5-7 years of expereince in the OR area; MUST have AZ. RN license or be elibible for that license. CNOR: A BSN in nursing is Mandatory, would like a MSN, MBA or MHA.
