The Greater Orlando region consists of Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Lake Counties, with the city itself lying in central Orange County. Disneys theme parks are in Kissimmee, about 20 miles southwest of downtown Orlando, while the Universal Studios complex and SeaWorld both sit along International Drive, just minutes from downtown. Job Description
Directs the daily workflow for the Microbiology department
The Microbiology laboratory service both as a reference laboratory and a Hospital laboratory
Position mentors and coaches Microbiology staff to ensure quality performance
Position oversees all aspects of performance management including regular evaluations for staff
Oversees scheduling
Ensures that procedures and methods are performed according to section protocol, including quality control parameters and result reporting
Adjusts workflow
Job Requirements
Bachelors degree in Medical Technology
Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) by the ASCP
Salary: $50,000-$60,000
Relocation Assistance and Sign-on Bonus available on a case-by-case basis.
