Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for managing the day to day operations of a defined area within a Section of Emory-Children's Center (E-CC). Plans and coordinates the activities of staff within the section to meet operational standards of the organization. Manages section resources in line with budget. Ensures compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines. Handles operational issues as they arise and works with Section leadership to resolve problems as needed. Accountable for activities that will enhance operational efficiencies, improve patient satisfaction and result in cost effective healthcare solutions. Evaluates the daily operations to ensure the Section is providing quality patient care and maximizing patient flow. Supports the achievement of Section performance targets and financial goals.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, healthcare administration or related field required. Master's degree preferred. 3-5 years healthcare related experience required, preferably in an ambulatory setting. Minimum requirement of 2 years supervisory/manager experience.
Addendum to Job Description This position will be responsible for managing the day to day operations in the divisions of Rheumatology, Endocrinology and Infectious Diseases within Emory- Children...s Center (E-CC).
Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated strong clinical operations experience including patient access, team building, patient satisfaction monitoring, change management, process development, and conflict resolutions. Strong computer skills.

More than 200 Emory-Children's Center physicians also are University School of Medicine faculty.
